Announcements for 3-10-13
We continue to gather as a combined parish on a weekly basis on Wednesday’s to journey with Jesus to the cross. The place of each gathering is as follows:  March 13th at Hecla, March 20th at Claremont. The gatherings on Wednesday will begin at 6:30pm with the meditation/gathering first and then we will share in a light meal for a time of fellowship.

The Mission Team and children of Britton UMC are focusing on supporting the Solar Oven Project for Haiti. The children will gather an offering of loose change each Sunday during Lent. The goal is to collect enough to buy solar ovens, the cooking equipment and cookbook. A solar oven will be set up in the entryway so you can see what you are supporting. Thank you in advance for supporting this vital mission project for the people of Haiti.

A Bible Study has started at Britton UMC on Wednesday, March 6th at 9:30am. The study is titled “Anointed, Transformed, Redeemed” and is six week study of David. Everyone is invited to come and be a part of this study. Bring a friend as well.

Claremont UMC--Orders for flowers for the Easter service on March 31st (Easter Lilies or Bulb plants) may be placed until March 15th. The cost of the Lilies is $12 and the cost of the bulb plants are $16. The order sheet will be on the table in the entryway or contact Jennifer Gustafson at 294-5800.

Sunday, March 10th Bishop Bruce Ough and his wife Char, will be at an Open House at North Highland UMC from 2-4pm. All are invited to attend and to hear about what the Bishop is planning for our Conference. This is an important time to find out more about what and how the churches of Dakotas Conference are being called to be transformed and to serve.

Attention Men!!  A Men’s Bible Study titled “Not a Fan” will begin on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at 7:30pm at Claremont UMC. The study will meet every other Tuesday for this six week study. Men from all three churches are invited to participate in this dynamic study on our relationship with God. Please let Pastor Nancy know if you will be participating by March 26th so the books may be ordered in advance.
