Thoughts to Ponder
“The coming of Jesus means that God is with us. Sometimes it is hard to see evidence of that, with all the sorrow and the suffering in the world. Many people ask the question, “If God is all loving and all powerful, then why doesn’t God do something about evil?” The answer to this question is simple: you are the “something” that God is sending to combat evil in this world.” Rev. M. Slaughter “Christmas is not Your Birthday”

Opportunities to Serve
Christmas is just around the corner and so is the Shoebox Christmas Gift program for the Dakotas Conference. The program reaches five reservations, homeless shelters and local churches throughout our conference. It's easy and fun to donate. Just get an empty shoebox and wrap the bottom and top separately. Then fill it with lots of fun stuff, put a rubber band around it so the top stays on and take it to the collection point nearest you. All donations need to be at the church by November 18th so they can be taken to Aberdeen by the 21st for delivery to the various programs.
