The last of our Lenten services will be on March 20^th at Claremont at 6:30pm with the meditation/gathering first and then we will share in a light meal for a time of fellowship.

The Mission Team and children of Britton UMC are focusing on supporting the Solar Oven Project for Haiti. The children will gather an offering of loose change each Sunday during Lent. The goal is to collect enough to buy solar ovens, the cooking equipment and cookbook. A solar oven will be set up in the entryway so you can see what you are supporting. Thank you in advance for supporting this vital mission project for the people of Haiti.

Britton & Hecla UMC’s

If you would like to bring flowers to enhance our worship space on Easter Sunday in memory of honor of someone; please let Pastor know (294-7388) or Judy P. (294-5862) by March 19^th so they may be included in the worship folder.

Attention Men!!  A Men’s Bible Study titled “Not a Fan” will begin on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at 7:30pm at Claremont UMC. The study will meet every other Tuesday for this six week study. Men from all three churches are invited to participate in this dynamic study on our relationship with God. Please let Pastor Nancy know if you will be participating by March 26^th so the books may be ordered in advance.

**Holy Week services will be less formal and more meditative this year. There will be a time of reflection/meditation with Pastor and then sharing in the Sacrament of Holy Communion. You may come and go during the allotted times at each church. On Maundy Thursday the reflection time will be at Britton UMC from 5pm-6:30pm and at Claremont UMC from 7:00pm-8:30pm. On Good Friday the time will be from 5:30pm-7:00pm at Hecla UMC. Come and share in a sacred time of reflection as we journey with Christ to the garden and to the cross.
