Opportunities to Grow, Serve & Share Your Faith
A  Bible Study on the book of James continues on Wednesday’s at 7pm at the home of Bev Dinger in Hecla. It’s not too late to join the study. Come and be part of this interesting study.

The Claremont Sunday School has challenged the congregation to match their funds to purchase animals for people around the world to have an income and food source. If you haven’t already given to this project/challenge be sure to contact Jennifer Gustafson. Check out the wall in fellowship hall regarding which animals will be purchased.

Share Christmas with a special Grandpa or Grandma from Wheat Crest Hills. Select a gift card from the Grandpa & Grandma Tree at First Savings Bank-Britton, purchased the suggested gift, return your gift to First Savings Bank by Monday, December 17th and your gift will be delivered to a special Grandpa or Grandma.

The schedule for Christmas programs is as follows:
Hecla UMC/St. John’s Lutheran will be on Sunday, Dec. 16th at 4pm. at Hecla UMC.  
Britton UMC will have their program Sunday, Dec. 16th at 7pm
Claremont UMC will have their program on Sunday, Dec. 16th during worship and a potluck lunch will follow.

Christmas Eve services will be held on Monday, Dec. 24th.
            Claremont UMC at 4:30pm
            Hecla UMC at 6:00pm
            Britton UMC at 7:30pm
Plan on attending and bring a friend as well. What a wonderful time to have someone learn about God’s love and gift of Christ.

On Wednesday, December 19th the Marshall County Ministerial will host a Community Christmas Story in Carols at 7:30pmpm at First Lutheran Church in Britton. Come and enjoy singing the carols and share a time of joy and peace.

Hecla UMC has designated the Christmas tree in the entryway as the Giving Tree. Donations of non-perishable food items, mittens, hats and gloves may be place on or around the tree. The food will be sent to the Marshall County Food Pantry and the other items will be sent to various agencies in SD.
