Opportunities to Grow, Serve & Share Your Faith
A new Bible Study will be starting on Wednesday, November 28th at 7pm at the home of Bev Dinger in Hecla. The study will be on the book of James.  Mark your calendars and be sure to join this time of growing in your faith.

The Claremont Sunday School has challenged the congregation to match their funds of $160 to purchase animals for people around the world to have an income and food source. Pastor Nancy has doubled the challenge to $320 or more. If you haven’t already given to this project/challenge be sure to contact Jennifer Gustafson. The specific animals have not been decided upon as yet. Watch for more information in the coming Sundays.

Britton United Methodist Church will be gathering to decorate the church for Christmas on Sunday, December 2nd at 4pm. Crafts will also be available for the children to do while the adults decorate.
Pastor Nancy will be serving soup for the supper meal after the decorating. Please bring a dessert to share. Come and enjoy a time of fellowship and fun!

Share Christmas with a special Grandpa or Grandma from Wheat Crest Hills. Select a gift card from the Grandpa & Grandma Tree at First Savings Bank-Britton, purchased the suggested gift, return your gift to First Savings Bank by Monday, December 17th and your gift will be delivered to a special Grandpa or Grandma.

Open Enrollment for Medicare Part D (prescription drug plans) of your Medicare coverage is still available. Volunteers are available at the Britton Extension Office to help people compare the Part D plans  available and assist with the change if desired. Dates and times are Tuesday afternoon from 12:30pm-3:00pm on December 4th. BE SURE to bring your Medicare card and a current list of medications with the doses along to the Office. Call Karen at the Extension office if you have questions.

A new Bible Study will begin in Britton & Claremont for the Advent season. It’s titled “A Different Kind of Christmas” and is a 5 week study. Britton begins on Wednesday, November 28th at 9:30am at the church. Claremont begins on Thursday, December 6th at 9:30am and will meet at Merlene Dunlay’s home.

Claremont UMW invites you to attend a Soup & Chili Supper on Sunday, December 9th beginning at 6pm. You are then invited to stay and enjoy a program of  Christmas music performed by people from our surrounding area and church beginning at 7pm. Mark the date and be to come and enjoy an evening of good food, wonderful fellowship and joyous music.
