Opportunities to Grow, Serve & Share

Our new Bishop, Bruce Ough, will be in our district (Eastern Sunrise) on Sunday, October 7^th at Fargo First UMC at 3:30pm. There will be a time of worship and of fellowship.

Claremont UMW invites you to attend a supper and program entitled “The Ties That Bind” on Wednesday, September 26^th at 6:30pm. Tickets are $8 and reservations are necessary. Please call Merlene Dunlavy at 294-7805 or 294-5805 to make reservations.

The Bible Study “Embraced by God” will be held at BUMC on Wednesdays at 9:30am and at CUMC on Thursday’s at 9:30am. Come and be a part of this wonderful study about God’s love.

First United Methodist Church of Aberdeen will be hosting a 2 day video presentation of “Laugh Your Way to a Better Marriage” on Friday, October 12^th from 7-10pm and Saturday, October 13^th from 9am-12:30pm. The cost is $18 for a single and $35 for a couple. Tickets are available online at www.laughyourway.com and look for the events tab or call 866.525-2844.

On Sunday, September 30^th we will be having a joint (Britton-Claremont-Hecla) worship service at Claremont UMC at 10:00am. All Sunday schools are invited to join the Claremont youth and children at 9am for classes and to practice a song to sing during worship. Please note the time of the worship service and mark your calendars. We will have a time of fellowship and food with a potluck meal following the service.
