Opportunities to Grow, Serve & Share

The annual Ingathering has a new name and location. This year it is called Dakotas Market Place and will be held on September 22, 2012 at First UMC in Sioux Falls, SD. The format remains the same with auctions, gathering of kits for UMCOR, and lunch. Pastor Nancy will be going and will take any kits along. Please have the kits to the church no later than September 19^th.

Our new Bishop, Bruce Ough, will be in our district on Sunday, October 7^th at Fargo First UMC at 3:00pm. There will be a time of worship and of fellowship.

Claremont UMW invites you to attend a supper and program entitled “The Ties That Bind” on Wednesday, September 26^th at 6:30pm. Tickets are $8 and reservations are necessary. Please call Merlene Dunlavy at 294-7805 or 294-5805 to make reservations.

The Bible Study “Embraced by God” will be held at BUMC on Wednesdays at 9:30am and at CUMC on Thursday’s at 9:30am. Come and be a part of this wonderful study about God’s love.

Britton UMW invites you to their annual Homecoming Pie Sale on Friday, September 21^st after the parade. Mark your calendar and make sure you come and have a piece of homemade pie. All proceeds of the sale will go to support the Marshall Co. Food Pantry. See you there!!

Britton Fire Department invites you to come and have a pancake breakfast with them on Sunday, September 16^th at the Fire Hall. Free will donations will be accepted
