Over the next four weeks a sermon series titled “Upside
Down” will be presented. This series gives each of us the opportunity to spend
four weeks exploring what it means to live differently as a follower of Jesus.
Using the Sermon on the Mount as recorded in Matthew 5, this series introduces
us to the radical teachings of Jesus, and—rather than dismissing them as
extreme teachings—helps us live them out in a lifestyle of countercultural love
and grace.
The women of 1st Lutheran invite you to attend a
“Cozy Mountain Lodge” retreat on Saturday, February 15th from 8:30am to 4:30pm .
The cost is $10 which includes meals and a personal activity/study guide.
Registration is required and is to be submitted by January 24th.
There is limited availability on seating. Contact Kim Roehr (470-0292) or Julie
Elsen (290-5042) for more information. Pastor Nancy has registration forms
available.
