***Service time changes: Hecla has their Quasi Celebration June 24-26^th. On Sunday, June 26^th Claremont will worship at 8:30AM and Hecla at 10:30AM. Claremont celebrates their Quasi on July 1-3^rd. The worship services on July 3^rd will be at 8:45AM in Hecla and 11AM in Claremont.

Volunteers are being sought to help with beginning the worship services in each church. The volunteer will begin the service by lifting the announcements, leading the congregation in the call to worship and reading scripture. Sign up sheets are on the entryway table in Claremont and on the bulletin board in Hecla. Please prayerfully consider helping in this important task. Contact Pastor with any questions/concerns.

Pastor Nancy is putting together lists for prayer chains for each church. Please contact her as soon as possible with your email address and/or phone number. Prayerfully consider how you are being called to help in this powerful ministry of the church in lifting each other during difficult times.

If you are willing/able to provide cookies for the Claremont Quasi on Saturday afternoon, please contact Judy Pierson. Thank you in advance for helping with this project.

The UM Youth Mission trip is planned for August 7^th through August 10^th. Adults and young people (13 and older) are invited and encouraged to be a part of this time of serving others. We will leave at approximately 2PM on the 7^th and return on Wednesday morning after breakfast. Please contact Pastor Nancy by July 10^th to reserve your place on the team. Almost all of funds have been raised to cover the cost of the trip for 12 people. We will need adults for supervision and to assist with transportation. Spirit Lake Nation Ministry Center is in need of food supplies, clothing and tools. If you have clean, gently used clothing, nonperishable food items or tools you would like to donate, please bring them to the church by August 4^th.

A special offering will be received today to provide financial assistance to those who are experiencing rising waters and flooding of homes in ND and SD. The funds may also be used to help provide food for the volunteers and National Guard troops that are helping sandbag and monitor the levees. Thank you in advance for your generosity in helping those in need in our Conference. Please continue to pray for strength and endurance for the people going through this difficult time.

The Bishop’s Gathering is on Saturday, July 30^th in Sioux Falls at First United Methodist Church. The topic for the day will be on worship. Volunteers are being sought to attend this Gathering with Pastor Nancy. We will be leaving around 6AM and returning that evening. It’s a wonderful opportunity to hear from a nationally recognized speaker on worship design. The cost is $25 for a team of one pastor and two laity and $10 for each additional person. Please contact Pastor by July 10^th to attend.
